PENYULUHAN DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DENGAN PENYEMPROTAN DISINFEKTAN DAN PENERAPAN ATURAN KESEHATAN DI DESA PAKUTANDANG, KECAMATAN CIPARAY, KABUPATEN BANDUNG

This disease infects the respiratory tract and is usually transmitted through close physical contact and respiratory droplets. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and insight among participants regarding the importance of maintaining and following health regulations to minimize and stop the spread of COVID-19 and realize changes in healthy behavior during the pandemic. The methods used are counseling, simulation, and evaluation methods. Before carrying out this activity, socialization was carried out first by visiting the Pakutandang Village office, meeting and discussing with the Pakutandang Village Head regarding the needs that could be provided to minimize and stop the spread of COVID-19, and asking for permission to carry out community service activities. The results of the service show that the service activities went smoothly. Participants participate actively and collaboratively in discussion and question-and-answer activities. This service activity increases and broadens the knowledge and perspectives of the participants, including lecturers at Bale Bandung University, village heads, and government officials from the Pakutandang Village Office, students at the Faculty of Agriculture, Bale Bandung University, residents of Pakutandang Village and the COVID-19 task force in Ciparay District. Thus, the participants understood the importance of following health regulations and continuous spraying of disinfectants in the school and home environment around Pakutandang Village in implementing healthy behavior changes during the pandemic. The activity results will enable the implementation of good habits in complying with health protocols in the school and home environment, especially in Pakutandang Village, Ciparay District.

The community service program (PKM) aims to educate coastal communities on adaptation patterns to the scarcity of clean water sources through effective counseling and assistance to increase community resilience. The extension method uses a participatory approach by involving the community in education regarding introducing water filtration media and training in water treatment technology using simple technology. The educational process for coastal communities in Itawaka State regarding the introduction of filtration media originating from local resources and recognizing adaptation techniques for the use of simple technology such as simple and cheap water filtration systems and efficient storage systems can help overcome the scarcity of clean water, as well as maintaining water filtration systems sustainable clean.

The cow's milk produced is sold directly to consumers or milk producers. The selling value of fresh cow's milk is lower than processed cow's milk, and fresh cow's milk has the risk of being easily damaged, resulting in losses for farmers. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to assist farmers in handling their processed milk production by making yogurt for the Cattle Farmers Group (KTTSP). The approach is in the form of an initial survey regarding partner problems, formulating solutions, providing assistance, and analyzing the partner's level of understanding. This community service activity results in an increase in partners' knowledge of dairy products and how to make them before and after the activity. Apart from that, partners can also increase the selling value of pure cow's milk through processed products in the form of yogurt with a delicious taste and attractive packaging, thereby increasing the selling value of the product.

This community service activity aims to empower homemakers to use microgreen vegetables in the form of kale and kale and make healthy juice from these vegetables to fulfill family nutrition needs as part of efforts to live a healthy lifestyle. Community service activities regarding the introduction of microgreens and healthy juices were held on June 13, 2024, in Limau Manis Selatan Village, Unand Block B lecturer housing complex, Ulugadut, Pauh District, Padang, which was attended by 50 members of Majlis Taklim Darul Ulum. Implementation methods include socialization, discussion, and direct practice. As many as 90% of participants showed increased knowledge about microgreens, and 85% better understood the importance of healthy juice and how to make it. Awareness regarding participants' nutritional knowledge increased, with greater interest in including microgreens and healthy juices in their daily diet. Activities achieved satisfactory results as demonstrated by high participation and enthusiasm during socialization, discussion, and practice sessions. At the end of the activity, interviews were conducted with participants. Live demonstrations and independent practice are proven effective in teaching new knowledge and skills. Challenges such as time and material limitations were overcome with a follow-up plan, including forming small working groups and follow-up sessions to evaluate progress. This activity increased the knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm of Majlis Taklim Darul Ulum members to live a healthy lifestyle. Post-training, the results show the potential for sustainability in encouraging healthy lifestyles of training participants and strengthening communities.

On the other hand, livestock waste (goat manure) that has not been managed optimally, often faced by livestock breeders and farmers, has good potential to help increase soil fertility on agricultural land at a reasonably low cost. The proposed solution to this problem is to switch to environmentally friendly organic fertilizer because it reduces the use of chemical substances. One of them is the use of goat manure, which contains high levels of nutrients such as phosphorus (P), nitrogen (N), and potassium (K). This community service activity aims to increase farmers' understanding that the use of organic fertilizer is a solution to overcome the problem of poor soil quality due to drought and excessive use of chemical fertilizers, as well as providing skills to farmers and breeders in Kalong Liud village in making liquid organic fertilizer from goat droppings. The method used includes the first stage of determining targets and implementing activities. The second stage of community outreach, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and evaluation uses the test method, namely, comparing the pre-test and post-test results. The first stage of activities is determining targets, including surveys, outreach with breeders and farmers, observation, licensing, and activity planning, and then manufacturing liquid organic fertilizer. The second stage of activities carried out outreach with two topics: outreach to the community, discussions with the formed farmer groups, and evaluation through filling out questionnaires. After conducting community outreach and farmer group discussions, the results of this activity were that they understood how to make liquid organic fertilizer from goat manure and the dangers of using excess inorganic fertilizer on plants. After joint practice, the farmer group's understanding of liquid organic fertilizer obtained a post-test score of 98% of people who understood this program.
